The moon’s shadow traces a path across the Earth, creating the “Path of Totality.” This exclusive corridor is the only vantage point to witness the total eclipse, an awe-inspiring event that can last up to 4 minutes and 28 seconds. During that time, the moon will eclipse the sun, transforming the sky into darkness revealing a rare opportunity to observe the sun’s corona.
The “Path of Totality” unveils a mesmerizing spectacle, offering a unique cosmic ballet that won’t grace our skies again until 2044. As the moon delicately obscures the sun’s face, the brilliance of the outer shimmering corona, often called the “crown,” emerges. This ethereal sight, composed of rarefied gas heated to millions of degrees, is a breathtaking phenomenon visible only because of the moon’s eclipse. It’s essential to note that looking directly at the sun is unsafe without proper protection. Solar glasses will be provided to ensure a safe viewing experience.

The Rhinory is located on 55 acres in the stunning Hill Country of Fredericksburg, TX. Our concept is simple – to inspire people to love rhinos and their conservation. Our rhino program begins with our beautiful 5 year old Southern white rhino “Blake” and will expand over the next few years with additional females to allow for our breeding program. We are unique in that we can laser focus our efforts singularly on just RHINOS! While enjoying award winning wine, our guests can learn directly from our rhino keepers about rhino conservation and management. It is our goal to have people walk away from the Rhinory with more awareness and love for this incredible species. Care. Love. Protect. We proudly support International Rhino Foundation and have donated over $100,000 in less than a year to their rhino programs. Another incredible partner for the Rhinory is Mohawk Flooring – they are helping to bring the rhino back through their conservation initiative’s.
