Operation Black Rhino: An Evening of Impact at Rhinory

On April 30, Rhinory welcomed guests for an unforgettable evening where fine wine met a powerful purpose.

Operation Black Rhino: An Evening with Ol Pejeta brought together conservation supporters, wine lovers, and members of our community for a night dedicated to one of the world’s most urgent wildlife missions: protecting rhinos.

We were deeply honored to host the team from Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the sanctuary protecting the largest population of black rhinos in Eastern Africa and caring for the last two northern white rhinos remaining on Earth.

A Conversation from the Front Lines

Guests had the rare opportunity to hear firsthand from Ol Pejeta Conservancy’s Chief Executive Officer, Justin Heath, and Wildlife Operations Manager, Abraham Njenga, whose work represents courage, leadership, and unwavering commitment to wildlife protection.

Their stories offered an honest and eye opening look into what it truly takes to protect rhinos each day. From anti poaching efforts and habitat management to long term breeding strategies and community partnerships, the evening reminded us that conservation is built through dedication, action, and global support.

Wine with a Purpose

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a curated selection of Rhinory wines paired with artisan charcuterie while connecting over a shared mission.

At the Rhinory, every glass poured helps support rhino conservation, and this event beautifully reflected what can happen when people gather around purpose.

Thank You

To every guest who attended, shared the event, purchased a ticket, or supported the mission, thank you.

Because of your generosity, 100% of ticket sales were donated directly to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, helping fund the vital work being done to protect rhinos now and for future generations.

This Is Only the Beginning

Operation Black Rhino was more than an event. It was a reminder that conservation is not something happening far away. It is something we can all be part of.

Thank you for standing with us, raising a glass, and helping protect one of the world’s most iconic species.

Sip Wine. Save Rhinos. 🦏🍷
